ASEAN officials work toward realising single aviation market
Senior officials from ASEAN aviation and dialogue partners continuously contribute their commitments to realise their vision and targets in relation to build up the comprehensive ASEAN Single Aviation Market, which is one of the key milestones in realising the AEC. The officials are currently attending the 35th ASEAN Air Transport Working Group Meeting and its Related Meeting which are being held in Vientiane from March 6-10. The meeting was chaired by the Director General of Civil Aviation Department under the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Mr Vanhpheng Chanthaphone. The ASEAN Single Aviation Market, is one of the key milestones in achieving the ASEAN Economic Community and besides this, we all have been facing some positive and negative challenges, Mr Vanhpheng said.
